Professional Experience

Mr. Fred Smith has been a consulting engineer since 1980. He is currently president of Alpine Engineering & Design, Inc., a company he started in 2000. Previously, he spent 20 years doing consulting work with F.S. New Products, Inc. Mr. Smith has directed the development and improvement of a wide variety of products including trucking equipment, refuse equipment, hydraulically operated equipment, specialty axles and suspensions, exercise equipment, radio frequency and magnetically shielded enclosures, rotomolded containers, and a variety of consumer products.

Mr. Fred Smith's expertise extends to many areas of product design; including concept generation, design, stress calculations, finite element analysis, prototyping, testing, manufacturing and assisting in the patent process. Mr. Smith has been used as an expert in product liability, breach of warranty, negligent misrepresentation and patent infringement cases.

Mr. Fred Smith has been retained as an expert in hundreds of cases over the course of his professional career.

Mr. David Smith is has been working in consulting engineering since 2007. He has a master's degree in mechanical engineering and in business administration.

Mr. David Smith's expertise extends to many areas of product design; including concept generation, design, stress calculations, finite element analysis, prototyping, testing, manufacturing and assisting in the patent process.

Mr. Nathan Morrill has been working in consulting engineering since 2000. He is a licensed professional engineer in Utah, Texas and Florida.
