Utilizing 54 years of first-hand experience as a general building contractor, construction manager, and building inspector with numerous years in building code enforcement, he brings unique expertise and a complete team of professionals to assist legal counsel with the litigated case.


Litigation Support Services

MPGroup offers expert testimony on construction related issues and forensic photography for architects, attorneys, corporations, developers, contractors and insurance companies who require high-resolution and micro-photography for the preservation and documentation of evidence for use in litigation as Demonstrative Evidence Exhibits.

Furthermore, Michael is a mediator trained by the Institute for Mediation Studies and at the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine University School of Law. He has served 6 years mediating cases for the Los Angeles County Superior Court as a member of their panel of neutrals. Michael Poles currently provides private construction and premises liability mediation services, as a “non-attorney” mediator.

Professional Experience

Michael Poles has garnered more than 50 years of unique hands-on construction experience. He is licensed in the State of California as a General Building Contractor (263193-B), a Certified Construction Manager and a Registered Construction Inspector for schools and hospitals, certified and licensed as a Special Inspector for structural concrete and masonry, and has inspected hundreds of residential and commercial properties representing the buyers of real estate. He has built, administrated, and inspected the construction of projects including: apartments, airports, commercial, industrial, condominiums, custom homes, fire stations, hospitals, office and warehouse buildings, police stations, public schools, shopping centers, public works, and tract housing.
