John Baker, MD, FACC, FSCAI is actively practicing in many fields including Invasive/Interventional Cardiologist and has been doing so for over 20 years. He has specialized in Advanced Interventional procedures like advanced coronary stent procedures and complex angioplasties. Dr. Baker is an accomplished Physician trainer with procedures regarding Rotational and Laser Atherectomy. In addition, he supplies opinions and/or treatment based off evidence in any area of Adult Cardiology.

I provide evidence-based opinions, research, reviews and reports, and depositions in all areas of Adult Cardiology including General, Invasive and Interventional Cardiology and Surgery. In addition to what I have listed on my Curriculum Vitae (supplied on request), I have several qualities that you may find helpful as an expert in Cardiology.

• I have extensive experience in peer review, in my capacities as prior Chair of Invasive Cardiology, organizing and maintaining high quality accurate peer review for Anaheim Memorial Medical Center, and redesigning the process to meet Joint Commission's Standards.

• I am currently Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Anaheim Regional Medical Center, and a busy, actively practicing Invasive/ Interventional Cardiologist for our busy 15+ physician Cardiology group, which is the largest in Orange County.

• Currently serving as an expert in the field of Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology for the California Medical Board of Physicians and Surgeons.

• An active case reviewer in the field of Cardiology for the Cooperative of American Physicians Inc (CAP-MPT), Maximus Center for Health Dispute Resolution and others.

• Appointed as Co-Chair of the ACC (American College of Cardiology) Cardiovascular Care Team Council & Section 2012-2015 term.

• Practices and promotes Evidence Based medicine in practice and in my reviews, which are thorough and medical evidenced-based, which are not dependent on the side of retaining counsel.


Litigation Support Services

I have a balanced defense/plaintiff caseload. I do not discriminate between defense and plaintiff cases as I provide an evidence based opinion on the medical facts of the case and am able to opine upon multiple areas of care including the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up and ascertain areas where the standard of care has been met, breached or exceeded.
