Industrial Hygiene Experts Testimony and Legal Consultants

The field of industrial hygiene considers chemical and other environmental hazards in the workplace. An industrial hygienist evaluates hazards that include noise, temperature extremes, radiation, vibration, flammable and explosive agents, and a variety of industrial chemicals as liquids/mists, dusts/fumes, and gases/vapors. Many industrial hygienists also address ergonomic issues and biological agents, such as environmental molds. Evaluation may include air sampling and/or other testing. The industrial hygienist also evaluates and recommends control options, generally working with the client to determine the feasibility of various controls in the workplace in question. A Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) has at least 5 years experience in the field of industrial hygiene and has passed the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) certification examination.
