Forensic Experts Toxicology

Toxicology expert witnesses assist attorneys to identify the cause of any health effect or death from exposure to drugs or chemicals in cases involving medical malpractice, wrongful death, drug overdoses, pharmacy errors, and exposure to commercially available products. The process includes a review and evaluation of medical and pharmacy records, autopsy report, the published scientific literature on the drugs or chemicals, and testimony of witnesses and culminates with a credible and likely scientific scenario of causation. A report is prepared that summarizes the opinions reached and describes the basis for the conclusions.
