Anesthesiologists may have expertise in all manner of surgical and obstetrical anesthesia and invasive monitoring; highly trained individuals may have expertise in any or all of the following: Pain Management, Critical Care Medicine, Toxicology/Pharmacology. Other additional training may be applicable to related fields such as monitor/device failure, computerized records and intraoperative injuries. Additional training in accident reconstruction would aid with incident evaluation and injuries resulting in painful conditions.
