Our lead expert, Shawn Gyorke, is a Certified Accident Reconstructionist with education, training and experience in the investigation, reconstruction, and analysis of personal injury and fatal traffic crashes. Shawn has investigated thousands of collisions involving pedestrians, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, cars, trucks and SUVs. Shawn currently concentrates on civil crash reconstruction projects, as well as vehicular insurance fraud identification. Shawn welcomes plaintiff, insurance defense, and criminal defense cases.
In addition to his qualifications as a Crash Reconstructionist, Shawn is also Vehicle System Forensic Technician and Examiner, Video Examiner and Metrologist, Crash Data Retrieval Analyst, with over 23-years of law enforcement experience. Shawn has acted as a police reconstruction supervisor, as well as a special consultant to several Chicago area regional and county reconstruction teams.
Shawn Gyorke is a is a Crash Reconstructionist, Vehicle System Forensic Technician and Examiner, Video Examiner and Metrologist, Crash Data Retrieval Analyst, and 23-year veteran of the Village of Arlington Heights (IL) Police Department, where he acts as the agency's reconstruction supervisor, as well as a special consultant to several regional and county reconstruction teams. He is a private investigator in Illinois and has been a guest speaker on Fraud, Event Data Recorders and Infotainment Systems across the country.
In 2007, and again in 2009, Shawn obtained his certification as both a Crash Data Retrieval Technician and Analyst with the Bosch Diagnostics approved course taught by the Collision Safety Institute. Since that time, Shawn has been a guest speaker on crash data retrieval (vehicle black box technology) for attorneys and insurance fraud investigators. In 2011, Shawn became a licensed trainer and mentor of crash data retrieval technicians through the Collision Safety Institute.
