Qualifications

Selected Accomplishments

Leading Organizational Change for Sustainable Electrical Safety Performance

- Designed and led implementation of the strategy for continuous and sustainable improvement in occupational electrical safety for DuPont Global Operations. This work enabled breakthrough performance in prevention of serious injuries and fatalities from contact with electrical energy. With the implementation of these advanced methods of electrical safety management, there have been zero electrocution fatalities for both employees and contractors from 1993 to 2016.
- Designed and provided leadership for creation of a professional network of electrical safety practitioners to facilitate advancements in codes, standards, regulations, technology and management systems essential to advancements impacting electrical safety. This network, launched in 1991, evolved into the IEEE Electrical Safety Committee and IEEE Electrical Safety Workshop and is recognized has having changed the electrical safety culture and accelerating improvements in electrical safety.
