James (Jay) Hibert is an Active Lender with more than 30 years of experience in Banking, Finance, and Real Estate Lending. He was in the commercial banking industry for 25 years before leaving to form his own lending company, Market Street Financial Solutions. The company provides services to banks, non-banks, and individuals in need of creative financing solutions.
With now over 30 years of experience in banking and real estate, Jay's market knowledge and transactional experience has allowed him to work in a consulting and expert witness capacity for many clients over the years. Still an ACTIVE lender in the industry, Jay has transacted hundreds of real estate and non-real estate loan negotiations in times of economic growth as well as downturns in the economy. His extensive credit background arms him with the understanding of how banks and other lenders operate internally.

Jay Hibert was in the commercial banking industry for 25 years. In 2009 he left the turbulent industry of banking and co-founded Market Financial Solutions, a commercial Real Estate lending company. Market Street Financial Solutions is a licensed California Finance Lender and Bureau of Real Estate Broker. The company provides services to banks, non-banks, and individuals in need of creative financing solutions.

In addition to providing commercial Real Estate loans, Jay is an active expert witness for cases involving banking and Real Estate. His market knowledge and transactional experience has allowed him to work in a consulting and expert witness capacity for many clients over the years. He has transacted hundreds of real estate and non-real estate loan negations in time of economic growth as well as downturns in the economy.

In 2015 Jay co-founded the company Market Street Homes, LLC. Market Street Homes is a Real Estate investment company that buys distressed homes at a significant discount, renovates, and resells these homes to retail home buyers and landlords.

Jay is a native San Diegan and a graduate of Point Loma High School and Pomona College. His community involvement includes coaching discus and hammer throwers. Hibert participated in the Olympic Trials for the Hammer Throw in 1988. Jay Hibert is a licensed Real Estate Broker through the California Bureau of Real Estate. CA BRE #01523075 and a Licensed Contractor through the Oregon Construction Contractors Board CCB#217415.
