Dr. Leibowitz is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is also a Certified Medical Director, certification granted by the American Medical Directors Association. He is in active clinical practice for more than 20 years. He is on the medical staff of New York hospitals, and provides patient care at nursing homes. He has served on the faculty of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School, and concurrently served as an Attending Physician at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin, and a graduate of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program at Temple University Hospital. He also obtained post-graduate residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Long Island Jewish Medical Center: an academic campus of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Leibowitz graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Biology, Magna Cum Laude.
