Dr. Vipul Kella is a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician who has been practicing for 17 years and has served as a medical expert for 10 years. He has reviewed over 100 cases and spent and has been retained by multiple Fortune 100 companies and large hospital systems for his case reviews and medical-legal findings.
Dr. Kella provides patient care at Adventist HealthCare hospital outside Washington DC. Previously he was System Chief of Emergency, Pediatric, and Observation Services managing over 110,00 patient visits, over 40 physicians and 30 PA/Nurse Providers at Frederick Health.
In 2020, Dr. Kella continued serving patients while obtaining an MBA from Johns Hopkins with an emphasis on Healthcare Administration, pursuing his interest in Standard of Care, Administration, policy and decision-making in hospitals and healthcare facilities from a business perspective.

2015: “Code Sepsis” program achieved top 1% inpatient mortality reduction nationally
2014: ED-Radiology program to assess necessary or unnecessary MRI Utilization. MRI Utilization reduced by 90%
2016: Developed innovative triage and ED throughput program to reduce ED diversion rate by over 50%.
Created “Goals of Care” Palliative Care ED program • Program which reduced hospital readmissions while maintaining top patient care.
Staffing models were recognized for efficiency in the entire nation of like sized Emergency Departments.
